Kenneth Milligan Donnelly was born on the 22nd of July 1967. The youngest of Peter and Pats four children, he spent his childhood full of fun and adventures in Girvan with his siblings Mary, Peter and Jamie.


Growing up Kenneth enjoyed his schooling and after success at Sacred Heart and St Joseph’s, gained a place at Robert Gordon College in Aberdeen where he studied Travel and Tourism. During his time at Robert Gordon College, Kenneth attained a love for and knowledge of the industry which would lead him to an incredibly diverse and varied career. It was here that he also developed many life long and deeply cherished friendships.


His career began at American Express which gave Kenneth and his family the opportunity to make many memorable trips all over the world. It was during this time that Kenneth met and married Michele. They went on to have two much loved children, Molly and Hamish. It must be said that one of Kenneths proudest accomplishments in life was being a father. He was always a devoted dad and from the moment his children were born he showered them with love and support, celebrating all of their achievements.


Alongside being a dad, Kenneth progressed his career at Continental where he spent many happy years before creating his own consultancy. After a number of successful years Kenneth moved into the world of advertising and media finally working in sales for Bikinilists. Although there was no more travel, he loved his work collaborating with lots of creative people and became particularly passionate about his “guess the celebrity” quiz for the Bikinilists team!


Whatever Kenneth did in life he threw himself into completely. His main passion however was always his family and friends. Whether it was pet sitting, guidance with planning a travel itinerary or just meeting for a pint, he truly thrived on making all those around him happy. His generosity and kindness will be sadly missed by many across the world, however the positive mark he left will be with us evermore.
